Our lunches are one of Edmonton's most unique and innovative leadership forums. Each lunch begins with a speaker (or speakers) who addresses a topic as chosen by our past attendees, followed by a question period. Participants are then given time to discuss the presentation with the peers and leaders at their table. The lunches set interVivos apart with their unique format.

One of the foundations of the interVivos vision and core values is to provide opportunities for students and young professionals to further develop their ideas and actions. Based upon this foundation, interVivos features 2 unique mentorship programs.
interVivos hosts small group mentorship events attended by 9-12 participants and featuring 3 established Community Leaders. Each event focuses on a theme and participants must submit an application for selection by the Mentorship Committee. Following introductions, participants will have an opportunity to network and be mentored by one of the Community Leaders in a small group situation (3-4 participants per leader) for 20 minutes at which point, the group of participants will switch tables to speak with another leader. Each event lasts approximately 1.5 hours and cost $25.

The Individual Mentorship Program matches interVivos protégés with mentors specializing in business, politics or the non-profit sector for one-to-one mentorship. We aim to provide personalized mentorship opportunities for participants hoping to realize their personal leadership goals.
The application process for the year long Individual Mentorship program begins in September when individuals interested in becoming protégés can submit their profile and resume to the Mentorship Committee at mentorship@intervivos.ca. The Mentorship Committee is responsible for matching protégés with mentors who can assist them in fulfilling their leadership goals. Both parties must agree to the partnership before the actual matches are finalized.
The program begins in February when interVivos will host a mentorship session to give the mentors and protégés an opportunity to meet and connect with “no strings attached”. If both parties agree, mentorship partners will exchange contact information and will agree to the guidelines for the partnership. Partners are advised to meet in face-to-face 3-4 times a year and connect via email or telephone once a month. All discussions held during the mentorship program are expected to be kept confidential and partners are responsible for their own expenses. Questions or concerns can be directed to the Mentorship Committee who will maintain periodic contact over the course of the year.
The Individual Mentorship Program will span the course of one calendar year (February – February) and partners will be invited to join the incoming protégés and mentors at a casual celebration to conclude and evaluate their participation in this unique program.
Protégés will pay $100 to participate in the Individual Mentorship Program. There is no cost for mentors to participate in the program.

interVivos mixers are an opportunity for our attendees to come together and be inspired and motivated anchored on a common issue of interest. Each event features a brief presentation about the issue by our featured speaker and plenty of time for networking and discussion.
