Updated: 3 days ago

Venue Update: Please note that A Municipal Affair will now take place at Double Dragon (10524 Jasper Ave) — located inside Fu’s Repair Shop. All other event details, including date and time, remain the same. We look forward to seeing you there!

This is not your parents’ election forum.

interVivos is bringing back A Municipal Affair—a one-of-a-kind non-partisan unforum where Edmontonians gather for real conversations on the issues that matter most to them this municipal  election. In a casual setting, you'll connect with fellow engaged citizens and local experts who spark discussion—not debate. The event takes place on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 from 5:30 PM - 9:00 PM at Double Dragon (10524 Jasper Ave) — located inside Fu’s Repair Shop.

No panels. No lectures. Instead, our speakers will rotate through small groups to share insights and lead open conversations. You’ll engage directly with them and with your fellow attendees in an easygoing, respectful format.

Candidates, staff, and volunteers are welcome to register for the event with the understanding that they are like other attendees; they get to listen to discussions, ask questions, and network. This is not an event for candidates and their teams to present platforms.

Doors open at 5:30 PM for optional mingling. Otherwise be there by 6:00 PM sharp—or a bit before—so you don’t miss the start. The formal part wraps at 8:50, and you’re welcome to stick around and mingle until 9.
