Reflections on the interVivos Winter 2024 Mentorship Program

Participating in the interVivos Winter 2024 Mentorship Program was both valuable and meaningful. From the launch event in December, it was clear this program offered something special. The matching process—where protégés connected with mentors in short conversations before ranking their preferences—felt thoughtful and intentional. It gave me confidence that I would be paired with someone whose goals and values aligned with mine.

What stood out most was the program’s ability to create a supportive and inclusive environment for both mentors and protégés. It went beyond traditional career development, encouraging open conversations about personal growth and authentic connection. Being part of a community that embraced these perspectives made the experience especially impactful.

One of the highlights of my journey was the relationship I developed with my mentor. While we explored specific topics, our most meaningful conversations often extended into personal growth and life experiences. These reflections offered insights that resonated far beyond professional development.

I also appreciated the structure and guidance woven into the program. Regular check-ins and resources from interVivos ensured the experience stayed intentional and focused. This support made it easier to stay on track and get the most out of every meeting.

Looking back, the program exceeded my expectations. I gained clarity, practical insights, and diverse perspectives. Most importantly, I built a mentor–protégé relationship that I know will continue to shape my growth well beyond the program.
